I’ve got one foot in the church and one in the world. But my God is much too big to occupy half of my heart. He is having to DEMAND all of me when I should be freely giving myself over to Him.

How have I so quickly forgotten Him? “I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” The greatest love story ever told.

Pretend its like a roadtrip and you’re coming back home. Dallas is still a few miles away but that doesn’t mean you need to stop in freakin Amarillo cause that’s closer to where you are. It’s not where you need to be. Don’t stop in every nice town that you pass by. They’re all just reminders that you’re getting closer to what you really want.
